Alex Rabinovich personal background:

As a teenager Alex became a leading international chess player. As a player he traveled to 13 countries to compete in international events, including 30 team events where he represented Israel. He became fluent in Hebrew, Russian, and English.

At age eighteen he entered the army. He served as a First Sergeant.

At age twenty-one he completed his armed services tour and began college studies. While in college he continued to organize chess events. He also taught chess, for example providing lectures and coaching the Junior Israeli Olympic team.

He has always trained chess players through private coaching and large-group lectures.

For his final University project he wrote chess instruction software for children with Attention Deficit Disorder.
